RSVP for the team based FTA
I would like to set up an FTA with 6-8 people, but have it planned ahead of time. If you are interested drop me an email. Also, if you have other FTF players you want to team with (or have a whole team) then recruit them!
The idea is to have well defined teams coordinated against each other. If we could create objectives (like offense vs. defense, kill vs escort the diplomat) for some of the games I'd like to try that also.

times you would like to do this
any ideas for the game, if you have them

Thanks for the note! You're right, I play very little FTA because the FTA that I've seen has been total chaos. Multiple lives leads to respawning all over the map, and a team that starts out together rapidly gets scattered. The worst thing I've seen is that when a perosn gets waxed, upon respawn they run to where they got killed because they know there is someone there and this becomes something like A kills B, B kills A, A kills B, etc.
While I'm sure that FTA would be awesome if done properly I haven't really searched out a game. The chaos and smack talk just isn't for me.
If you look at one of my first posts (in the archives now) I tossed out the idea of starting a one-life FTA with defined teams. Now that would be hot!
My favorite game is America's Army (can't play it easily on my MAC now) and that is basically a one-life FTA, and it is extremely well done.
I agee, FTA would greatly increase your skills and that would carry over to COOP. I personally am really weak at close-up hand to hand (perhaps why I like the scope so much) and FTA would go a long way towards improving that.
A couple of weeks ago I started a FTA server, and set it up as sniper only. It immediately degenerated into people rushing and using their sniper rifles as clubs - virtually all of the kills were at arms length. Really sad.

BTW, I have a MARSOC server up nearly all the time with a one life FTA- MARSOC REALITY
