So - last night (Thursday March 2, 2006) I had a password game up. I do this so I can have a game with people that I know and like, instead of the chaos of new people burning through the game. Got a new second high score - 132 kills before my first death.

Anyways - last night started about 7pm. The first team filled in rapidly, and we had a good game for around two hours. Team A finished around nine, and I remained alone to try and clean out the upper level of the hospital. Around 10 pm another team came in and we played till midnight- at this point my eyeballs were about to explode so I had to take my leave. One player still wanted to play so I left the game going while I went to bed. Since it was a password protected game I figured there was no harm leaving it going till morning.

I wake up this morning and find the advance screen waiting for me with the team scores. I expected this, since at the end of the level I have to manually advance it. Funny thing is, someone logged on as "Boo" (my name) and had a beautiful score... 31 one shot kills, 54 total kills and a bronze star. What a cool present for someone to leave for me.

Thanks, whoever you are! It's good to have friends.

*update - SIlly me. I forgot that when someone logs off, their name dissapears and it gets replaced by a duplicate of mine. What a bug filled game. Congratulations Reaze! Way to dominate the level! An army of one, indeed.

OH - I tried something new today. I started a dedicated server called "BOO! All Day" and left it on while I went to work. It was also password protected (same pword) so if any of the team members wanted to play when I wasn't there the game is available. Depending on how this works out I may do this more often.
