Thursday nights game around 19:30 CST password = flog
Wednesday nights team: Belisario, Tank, Morgoth, Eagle_MARSOC, Sgt. Kimo, Nefarius, Buzz, Gomer, Drake Akine, and TAG_Unknowned.
Started with a MCOOP, ended with an MCOOP, but the middle? LOTS of FTA. We were at eight people for quite a while, and while random seemed to be the favorite for the free choice rounds, we had several pistol only, nade only, shotgun only, etc. rounds that went really well. Sniper only seemed to be another favorite, since it slowed things down a bit. M16's vs AK's was not as balanced as I thought, with AK's slaughtering the M16's consistantly.
The "Dazzle Award" went to Belisario - who got dazzled during the FTA. The very next kill was supposed to be the password but I missed it, and instead saw "Boo flogged Morgoth" so "FLOG" is the new password. I was informed after the fact that the next kill was actually "Gomer killed Belisario" (I think it was Gomer) but "KILL" doesn't have the same ring to it... so now we keep an eye out for next time someone gets flogged, and we'll get a new password. Unless I change my mind, of course.
We eventually dropped down to four players, and instead of going back to an MCOOP we decided to stay in FTA and go three on one - alpha team was on random (no RPG or 203), with the solo bravo team member having free choice. A couple rounds of this and finally Morgoth won a round solo, against three of us. Another person joined and we started going FOUR on one. Normally this is something that wouldn't sound like fun but we got hooked fast. Had to start going two rounds at a time with 4 on 1 since often the round ended too fast. Nef won the first 4 on 1 victory (using an AK) with 3 kills and a time out, and shortly after that I got four kills to get the second 4 on 1 victory of the night using a SAW on the bridge battle map. When Tank rejoined after a break we initiated him into the game with a "welcome back, and surprise, it's us four against you!". Gomer then scored another 3 on 1 victory before I had to call it a night and left the game as a dedicated MCOOP (which crashed at some point overnight).
