Friday Nights Game: 19:00 hrs CST or thereabouts. pword = smoke
If we get over six players then we go to FTA, even though I'm still in the MCOOP frame of mind tonight.

Saturday MORNING game: 09:00-12:00 or so. pword = smoke, unless noone shows up then it goes to open.

SIGN MY GUESTBOOK, if you haven't already. Let me know that someone is reading this!

Thursday nights team: Gomer, Belisario, Tank, and apologies to Eagle_MARSOC who waited patiently for a spot that never opened...

I got home a little earlier than expected, so I fired up vent and noone was home. Ok, how about a little warmup before the main event? When in doubt, I always start the open game in the last level, Grand Serail. The reason? I can sprint across the map first thing and burrow in at the other end... cleaning it from the other side. When players log in they see my white dot at the other end of the map, yet spawn still hot. I know it's cruel - but as soon as people log in I tell them that spawn is still loaded with OPFOR. Most can handle it. The rest leave, or watch and learn.
So who showed up? Pat, XK_Joe_X, SSGT Burns, and everyones favorite: MARINE ROLIM! Since this was an open game and I needed a laugh I figured I'd watch and see what happened. To his credit, Rolim wasn't tk'ing last night though he found great amusement in plinging the marine sniper (who got called EVERY SINGLE ROUND GRRRRRRRRRR) with his own sniper rifle. Things turned sour when he continued to log back in after quickly dying. The fourth or fifth time he did it (and yeah, we tried to tell him not to) I got into a booting war with him until the slot filled. Shortly thereafter the game mysteriously crashed so the pword game could start. Fun, fun.

Pword game started in the tunnels under American University (Gomer and I both love tunnels) and after clearing the tunnels we started to head into the street. At which point I fell through the map. Dangit. At least one level lower than the street, so I couldn't shoot. Double Dangit. I'd toss a hand grenade up, and it would stop on the way up and stick to the street. At least I got some cool pics.

In the first tunnel. Gomer charges around the corner, and SPLAT. I take a peek and see at least six OPFOR. SPLAT. That's what we get for expecting the same thing every time.

Moving from the street back to the intersection.

You can see spawn at the far left. Any time there is a hole, or sewer, this is how they do it... a short cylinder that tapers off to a point.

The intersection.

The checkpoint.

I love my job! I get to travel, provide a valuable service, and shoot interesting people.

The medal of the evening. Congrats, Gomer!

ok, enough for now. See you tonight!
