Friday Night Fight Night! Tonight - pword = "CHERRY", game starts as soon as I can get home (19:00 hrs?)
Thursday nights games was AWESOME. Had so much fun playing, but it's all because of the team members that joined in. We cleared American Unversity (one of my pet favs). Team members were:
Mean Bastard (good to have you back, my man! It's been faaar too long)
Sgt. Kimo
rm_Escobar
Gomer
A Moose
Sting Goose
A Red Sox Fan
(I'm skipping a couple of people who didn't stay)
Kimo and I managed to clear the railroad station out last night (second level of Am U). We blew the lights, ran to the end, and then worked backwards. Couldn't have been easier - opfor never saw us coming...
Also got a chance to have a round or two with Ghost, Gearson, and Buzz. Since it was a COOP 'Boo the sniper' became 'Boo the rifleman'! Boy, that was humbling! Gotta say, I learned a whole new perspective watching these three work together. And this being the first time I've seen Ghost on SAW all I can say is WOW. Three slugs to the face, each time. Precision fire with a SAW - you can tell he's done this before.
Going to try another experiment: Go to ventrilo.com and d/l ventrilo. (I know, we just tried the whole SKYPE thing). I may have acess to a ventrilo server, at least for the evening - more news on this as it develops. SKYPE is a telephone replacement, but as I understand it it's a high-quality (hence high-bandwidth) voice protocal. We were having trouble with our levels and lag and whatnot, so perhaps a system designed for gaming would be better? Like I said, more news on this as it develops.
