Thursday 16Mar2006 - PWORD = CHERRY (use this instead of standard pword)
So... I got home early and decided to play a bit on Monday. Gearson had a dedicated server up and I stopped in, but noone was around. I started tossing hand grenades straight up and managed to shoot three of them out the air before I missed. Whoopie. Anyways, I started up a game, starting with American University and Steponnopets and I finished the level - had 39 kills and 31 one shots. David_Marsoc and Ricksta_Marsoc came by and we plowed through a few levels before I had to go collapse from the plane trip.
Tuesday was a lot of fun - TheUnknowned, CamelJockeyKlr, Sgt. Kimo, Buzz, Sgt. Ren, ColdSteel, and SteelRain86 (aomong others) played. A couple of the levels we were getting really spanked hard, and I had a few where I was getting tagged by the first opfor I went after! Interesting bug - at the end of the tunnels where the opfor throws a nade (and kills himself) and you come up to the MG nest on your left and the alley/warehouse to the far right (sorry I don't remember the name of the level)there is a room in the tunnels to the right with meds in it, and a door. TheUnknowned somehow managed to walk THROUGH the closed door and into the warehouse! He then went and holed up in the bunker at the final checkpoint and waited for us to come through... would have been neat to see what he saw there...
The game ended with the level where you come out of the tunnels and enter the railway(and shoot the lights out)and I was the last one alive. The conversation went something like this:
Boo: There isn't really any point to this, since you guys are dead. Should we call it a night?
Buzz(?): Sorry, didn't get that last transmission
LOL - Ok, I can take a hint... the opfor shot the lights out for me so I ran to the end of the railroad tracks (where the hole is) and cleaned it out backwards... then with a HUGE amount of luck managed to clean the rest of the level.
Lots of good playing, and some ferocious hand to hand at times (Go Kimo, Go!). Thanks for making this game so much fun, team! See you tonight!
