Next game Saturday, PWORD = "SORTIE" time TBA (noon-ish?)
The entrance to the Akhbar. I go in, and all I find is a warehouse full of OPFOR trying to kill me. When I asked for a 'shooter' that's not what I meant!
Last nights game was unusual, to say the least. At first we couldn't raise the ventrilo server, then the game was pllagued by serious lag. Pings looked fine but it got so bad that Hired Gun and Sgt. Kimo finally just 'locked up' and had to leave. Upon talking to Hired Gun later he said that I was running into walls and such. I get up for a few minutes and I'm alone. Ok, I expected something like that, since I was gone for so long. I start clearing the row houses waiting for someone to log on and after about 45 minutes it stats to dawn on me that perhaps something is wrong. I quit the game, try my internet browser and realize I have no internet connection! Restarted the computer a few times, wiggled some wires, and finally got it going. Our man Reaze had a game going so I managed to get another 45 minutes or so in before bedtime. My apologies to all for the mystery problems, but hopefully they won't resurface next game.

Last thing - I put a hit counter on the blog to get an idea of how many people are checking this out. I've had (as of this morning) 135 unique IP's read this blog in six days! I have a hard time getting my head around this number. Thank you all for checking it out! Too bad I can't host more than three others at a time.
